Curious George

In Brooklyn's class they take turns taking Curious George home and going on an adventure. This is right down Brooklyn's alley. She LOVES going on make-believe adventures with her brother. They get their backpacks and fill it with all kinds of gear (aka junk) and like to set out on an "adventure." It really is pretty cute, but when Brooklyn brings home Curious George she gets so excited and can't wait to fill out her little paper that tells about it. Then she gets to take it back to school the next day and read it to her class. This time George went to Aunt Patrice's house and he sure did find a lot of interesting things, to say the least...

Date Night

A few weeks ago we decided to take our kids on individual dates. Spencer took Gavin up to the Jazz game and Brooklyn and I went to Princess and the Frog. It was so much fun and Brooklyn loved it. It took me back watching the old school animation, but the story was cute and Brooklyn wants Gavin and Spencer to see it, probably just so she can see it again. It is so hard waiting forever for movies to come to video when your kids just want to watch them over and over again, maybe once it comes to the dollar theater :) Spencer didn't come through with pics from the game, because he says Gavin wouldn't cooperate..no surprise there.

Words that rhyme

Gavin just told me that the words "barfit" and "carfit" rhyme.

They sure do buddy...now exactly what do these words mean?

Its hard being little...

Gavin has had a rough day today, even though it was spent being spoiled by Gma Lollie and Gpa Pop. My mom said she thought he wasn't feeling well.

Gavin had become super impatient these days and everything takes tooooo loooong! According to him at least.

I just had to laugh because just now after much whining this evening, and in an even whinier voice he says: " I hate being me, I hate being a little boy." I'm guessing he is referring to the stool he's carrying around the house so he can reach things that little boys aren't supposed to be in to!
