Field Day

Well May has been CRAZY, but now things are starting slow down and hopefully I can catch up on some blogging! The last week of school we had something everyday and one of them was field day. The kindergarten played at Discovery Park for part of it. Brooklyn had a blast. I and a friend walked down to the park to watch the kids. When I was a kid I looked forward to field day every year.

Dance Recital

Brooklyn performed a regular song, and then the whole company performed Peter Pan. It was really great. Brooklyn was an Indian and she did a great job, we are so proud of you Brooklyn you are an awesome dancer!

Dance Festival

I thought the Dance Festival was a lot of fun. Every grade performed a dance and performed it on the field the last week of school. The kindergarteners performed a song from High School Musical, it was really cute. I didn't get any still shots of Brooklyn because I was video taping, Gavin did however but Brooklyn is really small in it, so here is one of her eating her otter pop afterwards.

Easter

I'm so behind, but better late than never..right? Here are some pictures of the kids on Easter Sunday in their clothes, it was pretty bright by the time I got around to getting their pics done so the color isn't that great, oh well.

Gavin was either serious or being goofy, so I went with the serious pose.
Brooklyn is always very good at posing for pictures, however she smiles so hard her eyes are usually almost all the way shut. I do have to give her credit in these pictures because it was pretty sunny out.
Here is Brooklyn running around trying to get as much loot as possible. Gavin and her don't need to try too hard considering they are the only two kids part of the candy hunt. All the adults are on upper part of the yard participating in the MONEY hunt. Except for Spencer and I, we are helping our kids and of course filming the whole thing, because it is so hilarious!! Man the things some people will do for money!
