Preschool Program & Show and Tell

Gavin was able to fit a giant nerf gun and fire truck in the show and tell bag

he almost ripped it in the process but Ms. Kellie did say he could bring two things he

informed me, and whatever fits in the bag is fair game I guess....

I enjoy the end of year programs.

Memorial Weekend

My Grandparents were finally home for Memorial weekend. They have been serving as temple workers in the Nauvoo temple.

We go to their ranch in Idaho every Memorial to visit and help get a jump start on yard work. This year they planted a bunch of new fruit trees. It is always a fun and relaxing weekend.

Gavin shot his first BB gun (much to my dismay). He has an amazing shot for a four year old.

Brooklyn played in the garden and had fun getting into the ditches.

Noah took turns snuggling with everyone.

We decorated the graves at the cemetery and had our traditional weenie roast.

Lexi's Graduation!

My beautiful sister Lexi graduated last month and I am so very proud of her. She is so sweet and kind and my kids absolutely adore her because she's "so popular" (inside joke, hehe) love ya sis, thanks for all you do!

So, the kids have been asking for a tree house for a while now, and we have three huge pine trees in the corner of our backyard, so Spencer and his dad spent the day constructing a fun tree house for the kids and they LOVE it! We haven't put shingles on the roof or the exterior on yet, but the kids are having a ball playing in it anyway.

Hospital Pics

I know these are old, but since I publish my blog every year, I can't leave anything out! We had lots of visitors, and I had plenty of time to take pics, since I was there for 4 days! If it weren't for the awesome nurses I had and room service (yes, room service, it was a pilot program at UVRMC and so great!) I would not have made it that long.

Soccer Camp

The first week of summer vacay we got to get up early every morning (yay!) so Brooklyn could go to soccer camp. She has never played soccer before but has wanted to so we decided to try this little soccer camp to see how she liked it and she LOVED it!

Dance Festival 2010

This year the first grade performed "You've got a friend in me" from Toy Story for their Dance Festival. I look forward to this tradition, it is really fun watching the kids perform. Brooklyn like always loves anything related to music, so she was very excited to show me her dance :)

Noah's Blessing

Noah was blessed last Sunday. Spencer is amazing and he always gives incredible blessings. It was a beautiful day with wonderful family. We had around forty people at our home after for lunch. Great day, beautiful baby Noah.

Noah is two months old now. Amazingly the night before his blessing I was talking to Spencer about the fact that it had been two months since I had slept through the night and had no idea when I would finally be able to. That night Noah slept 8 hours! I thought it was a tender mercy considering the big day ahead, and it was for sure, but he has continued sleeping this way since. It has only been 4 nights, but hey I'll take it! He is now 2 months old and weighs 10 lbs. He started smiling around 6 weeks, and now he coos and smiles all the time. It is really fun watching him grow and change. He is a very active baby always waving his arms and kicking his legs when he is awake. He loves, loves movement! He will sleep all day if I am out doing errands, otherwise his naps seem quite a bit shorter. He likes swinging and takes naps in it more lately. I sleep him in his carseat at night (just like my other two) because one he sleeps WAY better that way and two, he has reflux and tends to start choking when he is flat on his back.

I love this little guy, he is so cute and I love seeing his dimples when he smiles, he lights up my life. I am so happy Spencer blessed him this past Sunday it was a great experience and I feel like Noah was named after some really special ancestors.
