We surprised Brooklyn with a brand new bedroom for Christmas, she immediately made some rules and posted them on her door..love that girl. They make A LOT of sense if you know her little brother Gavin :)

Temple Square

My newest passion..Crossfit
I have a new obsession..crossfit. I used to bike a lot, this year I did a couple half-marathons and I did like the challenge, but training for those becomes a little monotonous. I took up crossfit in the middle of November and love it! Tonight I suffered from my first bad abrasions on my hands from 100 pull-ups! If you told me six weeks ago I would be doing pull-ups I wouldn't of believed it(I do use bands to help me);)
Centerstage December Showcase
Brooklyn is our little performer and Centerstage had their December showcase, they performed Justin Beiber, Journey, Billy Joel, Kelly Clarkson and bunch of others it was really fun to watch.
Orange Belt
Gavin had belt promotion today and he is no longer a Little Ninja, he is in Jr. Beginning so he earns real belts now, not the striped ones, so he is excited to now have his orange belt!

Bruiser
Noah is REALLY accident prone, but this weekend he was beyond that..3 forehead bruises, a gash on tha back of his head and a black eye..seriously?? That's what happened in Idaho, you don't even want to know what has happened since we got home.

Pantry woes
My pantry has suffered far too long, so today was the day it had to be done! It is not exactly House of Smith perfection, but it is a HUGE improvement for me, hopefully I can make my way towards that ultimate organized kitchen pantry, but for now this will have to do.

The Antagonizer..
Lately Gavin has been constantly teasing and terrifying Noah, using scary voices or pointing weapons. It is driving me absolutely crazy. On the flip side, I watch my niece every Friday she is four months old and Gavin is totally ga-ga over her. I asked him why he is so nice to Andi, and not Noah and he said "cause she's a little baby.. and the littler the cuter they are!!" Go figure.

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband Spencer! I don't know anyone who works harder than him. He has been at the U in the Executive MBA program for the past 15 months and only has 6 more months to go! Wahoo!! He has been juggling that which at times is an insane amount of homework, along with his Drywall Co., and our family of five. One with whom, is very obsessed with him, that being Noah. A wife with sub par days who needs extra help most of the time and many other demands and responsibilities. He has sacrificed much the past year and a half, mostly all of his hobbies of biking, golfing and hunting, so he could spend more time with the kids and I. He has balanced this intense time of his life well and I am so proud of him and grateful to have him in my life. I cannot believe that twelve years has gone by so quickly, but as they say time flies when you're having fun! Here's to many more fun-filled years with my sweetheart! I love you Spence!

Manila Halloween Parade
The best costume in my opinion was the teacher who was a construction worker, like the ones we have had to deal with the last few weeks and it is true they do NOT know how to direct traffic it is a joke. All in all fun to see how excited the kids were in their costumes!
