Me: "Brooklyn did you eat breakfast?"

Brooklyn: "No"

Me: "Why not? What have you been doing?"

Brooklyn: (completely serious)"Going the bathroom and doing the hokey pokey."

Noah {hearts} feet

Noah LOVES his feet, he is constantly grabbing them and trying to suck on them,

it is so stinking cute I can't get enough of it.

Labor Day Weekend in Fairview

Labor day weekend we finally made it out with our friends the Larson's.

We stayed at their family cabin up at Fairview, lots of fun.

Grandma Linda was great to my kids helping them make endless designs with the perler beads,

Noah really enjoyed his first hike in the kelty, as you can see.

I ran the furthest I ran since the baby, thanks to Melissa and Dennis's persuasion...5.6miles :)

and the kids got to shoot the BB gun as well, what more could you ask for?

Needing a reprieve...

I think today was bound to just be a struggle.

This morning Brooklyn couldn't find her shoes, making the carpool wait at least 15 minutes (luckily they arrived early)

Then the framer for our detached garage came to start work and asked for the plans, which I know nothing about! Of course Spencer is at school and NOT taking calls. Meanwhile I'm am really irritated that he didn't take care of this and the framer is questioning me about what he should do!! I'm so stressed I can't do anything because I want to get him the plans, so I just waste away my morning worrying about it.

Then I get Gavin up for preschool only to discover he has cut chunks of his hair off! Ughh! I bathe him, feed him an apple because he won't eat anything I'm suggesting him and tell him to get his shoes and get in the car.

My phone beeps because I received a text, YES Spencer hopefully is answering me about the plans. CAN'T FIND MY PHONE!! Call it, doesn't ring?!? But it beeped when the text came? It beeps again, still can't find it! Now I'm late for Preschool. I take the baby out to the car and call to Gavin, no answer. Go back in the house no answer, in the yard yelling his name NO ANSWER! Are you freaking kidding me? I go BACK in the house yelling his name, find my phone with a text from Spencer saying "I am in class, can you text?" NO I can't text right now. Go back to the car find Gavin hiding from me behind the seats. My blood is boiling I was so upset I grabbed him somewhat from behind the seat, he bangs his face on the carseat and starts bawling. I drive to pick up our neighbor. She is really cute and says "Gavin? Why you have a big wed mock on you cheek?" (big red mark) He says I hit my face on the carseat when my mom hit me? Oh nooo...that sounds SO horrible, I wanted to cry. I'm home and I need to do a bunch of laundry, clean my house, go to work, work on work stuff and a million other things but I'm so upset I just want to go back to bed and wake up tomorrow.

My bubbly, beautiful, bright Brooklyn!

Brooklyn turned seven last month, so I'm going to write about her favorite things:

*she is literally a walking encyclopedia, she loves learning about things and telling us ALL about them, she has several books she reads pertaining to marine biology which is her favorite- one of my most favorite things she told me lately is that clownfish have a protective coat that protect them from the anemone in which they live, I guess other fish can't live there or they'll be stung! who knew?!

*she really loves singing and has really good ear, she sings on pitch and is very good at memorizing songs.

*she learned to ride this summer without her training wheels and we bought her, her first 6-speed and she is well on her way to being my new cycling buddy!

*she has become so much more mature since having a new baby brother, always trying to entertain him and keep him happy for me when I'm busy.

*she loves reading and is really good at it.

*Art is her favorite subject and she would do it 24/7 if I let her, she told me she is going to be an Art teacher when she grows up.

*she loves animals and would love a pet someday, I feel bad that I am so anti, but maybe someday ;)

*she is playing soccer for the first time this season and made her first goal last saturday

*loves swimming always has, she is my little fish

*started a performing class this year where they do musicals and is loving it!

Brooklyn is my little sweetheart who is growing up WAY too fast, but we love her bubbly personality!
